Will Obama Kill America on Inauguration Day?

As usual, there is a fuss over the use of God in Government. In a few days Obama will be sworn in as President of the United States of America. He will place his hand on a Bible and no doubt use phrases mentioning God.

KTRE in East Texas did an interesting report on this matter. I think it is nice to allude to God as has been done for the past 200+ years. I do not share concerns to the extreme as Dr. Rick Scarborough says:
Vision America, is a conservative, far right group working to keep God in government. Founder Dr Rick Scarborough said via cell phone, "The day we get to the insanity of banning God and prayer from inauguration is the day we finally commit suicide which we seem to be bent on doing."
I don't think such negativism will serve religious folks well. If and when there is a time in which such events ban the use of God, suicide is not the focus. If Obama does not refer to God, I do not think that is the sign that America dies. I think a better focus is what should happen in government with the mention of God. How are religious liberties being expressed in government ?

As the news article continues, God is perceived in a different light from others.
Christian believers way of thinking is fairly predictable, but what about a Deborah Bush. She's not an atheist, but practices a neo-pagan, nature-based religion. "God at the inauguration is more than spiritual. It's historical. It's like Obama choosing to use Abraham Lincoln's Bible that he was sworn in. I thought that was great," expressed Bush.
So when ‘God’ is being referred to in Obama’s inauguration, we must realize this means different things to different people. Muslims, Jews, Christians will perceive this god usage in their own context. As noted above, even a Wicca followers sees the benefit of using god talk in the public arena. Would it be weird having so many diverse religious backgrounds yell "praise God" when Obama is sworn into the presidential office.
