Atheist Bus Advertisments

In the past few months there has been a campaign of advertising the philosophy of atheism on public buses in the United Kingdom. Richard Dawkins is on board supporting the atheist bus advertising He claims atheism is superior to religion.

As noted in the photograph, The singes read in capital letters "There's Probably No God. Now Stop Worrying and Enjoy Your Life." This campaign illustrates a theme I have been showing in previous posts. Most Atheist and Christians really agree more than disagree.

How do Christianity an atheism agree? Atheism's sharpest critics such as Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins attack the notion of God, which is not promoted in the Bible. In the bus sign for example, there is an insinuation that religious people worry about a dictator or vengeful god. In reality the Bible shows us the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus tells his followers not to worry.

Mat 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Additionally, Jesus said, Jesus said to him,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). and "yet you refuse to come to me to have life. . . but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.(John 5:40;42.) He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.(1John 5:12) But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (John 20:31)

If I could rewrite the advertisement on the buses in the United Kingdom it would read, "The God of Richard Dawkins does not exist . . . Discover Jesus and enjoy life now and life eternally.
