US churches to discuss evolution vs creation. The evolution vs. creation debate has simmered for at least the last 150 years since Darwin's "On the Origin of Species." That volume first suggested populations evolve over generations through a process of natural selection.
The second weekend of February every year is deemed evolution weekend by liberal Christians, Jews and now Muslims. Initially, Evolution Sunday was the name given to this special event. Those that espouse this view have ignored the Bible that special creation of the world took place, including inorganic and organic evolution. Over 950 churches signed an online petition that they would teach evolution as God's mechanism for everything to come to be.
Now some Muslims are questioning divine creationism.
If the Bible's view of origins is disputed than, doctrines of salvation, Heaven, Hell and Jesus are also in question. The devil first deceived humans by questioning the authority of God's word.
